Last week I linked to an article explaining that Santorum and Gingrich are not on the ballot in enough states to win the nomination before the convention, leaving Romney and Paul as the only two viable candidates.
I apologize that I was misinformed. Patrick Mcewen of The Capital Free Press has examined these reports and done a detailed breakdown of both Gingrich's and Santorum's ballet access issues. He finds that while both candidates are hampered somewhat, it is still possible for either of them to win the nomination prior to the convention.
So it is still an open race. Especially after last night.
